This is SERIOUSLY fucked up
If you go to yahoo’s twitter profile page you can distinctly see only two mentions of tumblr there, neither of them are ever directly tweeted by yahoo, and neither of them mention cleaning up the website.
It really wasn’t that hard for me to check their page and scroll down to the 19th and then ctrl+f “tumblr” to find this out.
also on marissa mayer(the ceo of yahoo)’s tumblr, she straight out says, “We promise not to screw it up. Tumblr is incredibly special and has a great thing going. We will operate Tumblr independently. David Karp will remain CEO.”great now we can all calm down and get back to blogging about more interesting things. sorry about the rant.
